Through investigating a large number of customers in the cable industry, we found that aluminum mylar tape is widely used in cables as a shielding material to prevent signal attenuation. Like shield fire alarm cable,lan network cable :FTP cat 5 cat 6, SFTP cables. Coaxial cables. Different cables use different specification aluminum mylar tape. In coaxial cable, the 9AL+15PET,9AL+25PET ,or 9AL+15PET+23EAA is used for braiding or insulation layer. In Lan network cable ,use much thicker aluminum polyester tape like 50AL+20PET,40AL+20PET which have stronger shield effection.
